IEC International Standard for Parking Air Conditioning Formally Established
In March 2024, the IEC International Standard for Parking Air Conditioning, jointly promoted by Haier Air Conditioner, Shangchi Services, Vickers Testing and Jiefang Qingqi, has been formally established.
With the rapid development of the domestic parking air conditioner market, user demand is surging, and the number of companies involved is also increasing. While the industry is expanding, industry problems such as uneven product quality and lack of uniform standards are gradually exposed. In order to standardize the development of the industry, Haier automotive air conditioner to take the lead, adhere to the development and enhancement of industry standards, after years of efforts to precipitation, Haier automotive air conditioner has become the first domestic industry to lead the development of parking air conditioner IEC international standards of the industry brand.
As early as 2019, Haier Air Conditioner and Shangchi Services jointly developed and released the first domestic group standard for parking vehicle air conditioners with 8 enterprises. In 2021, based on the understanding of the global market, Haier Air Conditioner, Shangchi Services and Wikai Inspection led the proposal for an international standard for parking air conditioners, which was unanimously agreed by the representatives of the IEC SC61D countries, and more in-depth standardization work was carried out.On February 23, 2022, the IEC Working Group on International Standards for Resident Air Conditioners held its first meeting, with 15 experts from China, the United States, and Germany participating in an online format. In March 2023, the WG27 Working Group on Parking Air Conditioning was established.
At present, Haier parking air conditioner has been awarded hundreds of patents, including invention patents up to more than one hundred technologies, leading innovative technology to support the product to complete the split from the backpack to the top of the split, from the split machine to the roof top integrated machine of the leaping iteration, and built the world's first roof top integrated standard production line automation factory.
