Issues related to accessories must be considered when purchasing conductor bus bars. Here we mainly talk about the selection and configuration methods of accessories. We will configure the required general installation accessories free of charge according to the standard. However, for some situations where there are multiple cranes or the workshop is long, some additional accessories are required. This article discusses the free configuration of insulated power rail and the additionally charged accessories.
Free configuration during installation:
1. Hanger clamp
There are two types of Hanger clamp, single-hole Hanger clamp (for heavy Insulated conductor systems) and three-hole or four-hole Hanger clamp (for light Insulated conductor systems). The Hanger clamp is made of polymethyl methacrylate, which has high hardness, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging properties. It can not only support the hanging of crane power conductor system
but also fix the crane conductor rail system in horizontal and vertical directions.
The number of single-hole Hanger clamps = workshop length/2 * wire system
The number of three-hole/four-hole Hanger clamp = workshop length/1.2
2. Fixpoint hanger
The fixing clamp is used to fix the plastic housing outside the bus bar system, the thermal deformation of the wire housing, and the relative displacement between the wire and the housing.
Number of clips = 2 * wire number
When there are two sets of Expansion joint sections, a set of Fixpoint hangers needs to be added between the two sets of Expansion joint sections.
3. Aluminum joints
Aluminum joints are connectors between two conductors. They are made of the same material as busbar conductors, ensuring their conductivity and minimizing energy consumption.
Number of aluminum joints = workshop length/wire length * wire number
4. Line feeding
The Line feeding is the part that connects the power supply to the conductor of Insulated conductor systems, and the material is the same as that of the conductor.
The number of Line feeding = the number of power supply points * the wire number
5. Joint cover
The joint cover mainly plays the role of insulation and protection.
Number of joint sheaths = number of aluminum joints
6. End caps
The busbar end caps are mainly used to protect the ends of the busbars, prevent foreign objects from entering, reduce the risk of electric shock, and enhance the overall stability of the busbars.
Number of end caps = 2*wire number
7. Flat steel bracket
It is used to hang and fix the Hanger clamps.
Flat steel bracket = workshop length/1.2
8. Single-hole hanging clamp
If the Insulated conductor system is a five-wire system, a four-hole hanging clamp is required to be matched with a single-hole hanging clamp.
Additional charges are required to configure:
1. Current collector
It is the most important part of the crane conductor bar accessories, which realizes the conductive connection between the crane and the conductor bar. The carbon brush of the current collector is a fragile and consumable product, and its quality directly affects the service life of the current collector.
The number of current collectors = the number of cranes * the wire number
2. Isolating section
When there are two or more mobile devices in a span workshop, it is necessary to install a maintenance section. When one piece of equipment needs to be overhauled, other equipment still needs to move, and the sliding line at the equipment that needs to be overhauled can be cut off through the maintenance section.
Number of maintenance sections = (number of cranes - 1) * the wire number
3. Expansion joint sections
When the workshop length is too long, it is necessary to configure an Expansion joint section, which is set when the length of the light conductor bar exceeds 150 meters, and when the heavy conductor bar exceeds 200 meters in order to avoid the deformation of the conductor bar caused by thermal expansion and contraction in winter, which affects its normal use.
